Program areas at Certified Naturally Grown

In FY 2022-23 Certified Naturally Grown undertook the major project of rebuilding the organization's website replacing a system that had been in use for 20 years using up-to-date technology new branding and design features to improve the user experience. CNG also completed production of two educational films launched a monthly farmer meetup series consolidated communications into one monthly newsletter and developed two new educational courses: Foundations of Crop Production offered February 2023 and The Business of Farming offered November 2023 in next FY. CNG staff carried out an extensive consultation with members regarding a proposed update to feed standards finding there was not enough support to make the change. In addition CNG reviewed applications for certification from more than 200 producers and supported about 700 farmers participating in our five certification programs.
