Chagrin Falls Suburban Volunteer Fireman's Association

The organization's only program services are firefighting and emergency medical services. The organization covers a 32 square mile response area, serving a population of approximately 13,000 residents. Apparatus consists of two pumpers, a ladder truck, a heavy rescue, 3 als equipped ems squads, a command/fire prevention vehicle, two multi-purpose utility vehicles and an all-terrain vehicle. Four personnel staff the station 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, the fire chief and fire marshall are at the station on 8 hour shifts monday through friday. The department currently has 6 full-time personnel, and other members onduty work 12 hour shifts on a part-time basis. The department has a total of 52 officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. The department responds to more than 1,600 fire and ems calls per fiscal year.
