Program areas at Chamberlin Education Foundation
Maintain four sustainable, high-quality public school campuses in west contra costa. Combined, these schools serve nearly 2,000 historically under-resourced students, including 75% who identify as either black or latinx, 70% who are eligible for free or reduced lunch, and 22% who are english language learners. These facilities increase the number of modern learning environments available to local students and teachers, and ensure the long-term stability that lets schools build a legacy of success.
Curriculum supplies for students and instruction/training for teachers.to provide direct funding to teacher and principal preparation programs, as well as support to school leaders to develop their own instructional leadership skills, pilot high-quality instructional materials, and lead other initiatives to transform teaching and learning.
Education ecosystem provides various consultant support for programs and events such as Education fair for west contra costa parents and students to help apply to schools, black and brilliant event planning and coordinating,pro-black programming for aspire schools,west contra costa charter coalition, andfamily advocacy with charter leaders.to support a collaborative ecosystem in which teachers and leaders at traditional district schools and charter schools can collectively advance student-centered solutions.
