Charities of Hope

Clothing recycling sales - the organization was established to respond to the needs of various charitable organizations. The program involves the collection of clothing for resale by way of placement of collection bins at various locations throughout Connecticut. The net proceeds earned are distributed to various organizations. There are 143 bins spread throughout Connecticut with 825.80 tons of clothing and shoes donated. We also do clothing drives partnering with local organizations for fundraising events.thrift store - the organization operates a thrift store for the sale of gently worn donated items at retail value. The store closed in may 2019, however, the organization continues to respond to wish list requests and donated approximately 5,300 items of recycled clothing and home goods to organizations in Connecticut.
