Program areas at Charity for Change
The Charity for Change program is a comprehensive curriculum that teaches character, giving and volunteering through an academic platform reaching more than 10,000 elementary school-age children daily through afterschool and summer programs.by collaborating with schools, afterschool providers, charities, and community partners, the Charity for Change program connects students with each other, their school, community, and world around them, developing their character, citizenship and empathy for others.the character education and service learning curricula engages students through interactive, standards-based math games, physical activities, mindfulness, videos, word puzzles, role-play puppet shows, lesson plans, parent engagement activities, peer-to-peer reflection, contests, certificates, animated mascot appearances, volunteer projects, and thank-you letters from charities.students research and select charities to support. Students earn dollars from Charity for Change community partners by completing the curricula activities.
