Program areas at Cherokee Rod and Gun Club

The Club conducted shooting in trap, skeet, silhouette, black powder shoots, and vintage military rifle and pistol. Annual hunter safety courses were taught to area youth, ages 10 and older. Boys and girls in the civilian marksmanship program were taught how to shoot a .22 caliber rifle. Support was given to the eagle international rifle team. Support was given to the scholastic clay shooting team. Archery classes were provided to youth and ladies. The annual women on target instructional clinic was provided for safe firearm instruction.
