Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating crab mission statement providing the thrill, freedom, and therapeutic value of sailing to people with disabilities, recovering warriors, and local youth from underserved neighborhoods for over 30 years. For 2023, crab held 87 Boating events that served over 1,200 guests, with 65 having a disability, and partnered with 34 other nonprofit agencies that brought guests to crab. Crab also held 14 family sails for a disabled guests along with their family and friends. 172 volunteers helped to make these events happen, donating 3,911 hours for the year.crab held 2 recovering warrior sailing regattas, and the don backe regatta.
