Chicago Coalition for Family Building

We provide education and financial assistance to those struggling with infertility. Financial assistance is via grants and recipients are selected based on medical prognosis and financial need.

Financial assistance is provided to individuals for fertility treatment or adoption who demonstrate need showing their income under a specified amount. They submit medical information and each case is carefully reviewed and scored by two members of the medical advisory board (mab). Mab members are all board-certified reproductive endocrinologists who practice in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Under "donated services grants" services are donated by physicians to the patients through the foundation, and as such, no expense for physician fees is recorded. Under our "Family Building grants or "juf path to parenthood grant" we pay medical service providers or agencies directly for services provided to our grantees. 27 patients received these services in 2023. To date 85 babies have been born as the result of our work.
