Chicago Training Center nurtures students, motivating them to become physically fit while building teamwork, self-esteem, and leadership skills. It creates opportunities for underserved Chicago youth through the sport of competitive rowing, challenging them to achieve their athletic and academic potential. The center introduces rowing to over 500 students at their schools and hosts 250 youth at the club's boathouse, supporting 47 team members with study hall five days a week during the school year. Participants engage in five rowing regattas and enjoy field trip opportunities, all at no cost.
