Program areas at Chief Joseph Foundation

The Riding Program - CJF offers weekly riding to all area children at our pasture facility in Lapwai.
The National Chief Joseph Trail Ride - CJF takes advanced students on the National Chief Joseph trail ride that covers 100 miles of riding. CJF pays for and coordinates up to 6 youth every year.
The Nez Perce Mounted Scholars Program - CJF has an ongoing program working with students and teaching more advanced riding techniques than the weekly riding program covers.
