Program areas at Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes

The Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes saw 216 children in 2022 providing a safe, child-friendly location for children to be interviewed, as well as providing advocacy, mental health and medical referrals. The Organization continued to lead the Trafficking Task Forces in Ontario, Seneca and Yates counties, facilitating the collaboration of all three Task Forces to share resources. The Organization also facilitates Child Abuse Response Teams in all three counties in an effort to minimize further trauma to children. Continued on Schedule OIn 2022, the organization ran "Pinwheel Garden", "Roc the Day", "Steps to End Abuse Virtual 5K", "CACFL Virtual Auction", "Envelopes for Hope", "2022 Chicken BBQ", "CACFL Valentines Day Raffle", "Pinwheel Passport Challenge" campaigns to fundraise and raise awareness of child abuse. The Organization also continues to offer and approve Continued Education (CEU's) for Social Work and Mental Health. The Organization launched the Childhood Interpersonal Trauma Training- Level 2, offering 35 CEU's to professionals in the field of Trauma. This program is supported by contributions.
