The mission of DeKalb County Court Appointed Special Advocates is to recruit, screen, train and supervise court-appointed volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children under the protection of the DeKalb County Juvenile Court System. It is designed to give abused and neglected children a powerful voice via individualized advocacy throughout the court process and utilizes community, well-trained and supervised volunteers to continually protect the best interest of children in care.
