Program areas at Childcare Resources
Head start - provides quality educational and comprehensive services to young children and their families through community partnerships that promote school readiness, healthy family engagement and developmental services.
Supplemental child care program (sccp) - assists eligible working parents with children birth to age five (prior to kindergarten entry) with paying for the cost of child care.
Training and technical assistance - training sessions, courses and conferences are offered for providers to assist them in meeting the needs of children in their care. Technical assistance is available to current and potential providers looking to improve the quality of care being provided, open a new child care program or seek cda or national accreditation.
Infant toddler program - offers free training, one-on-one consultations, and program assessments to participating child care centers to improve the quality of care in their infant and toddler classrooms.
Rise (reaching improvement through self-evaluation) - offers free training, one-on-one consultations, program assessments, and classroom stipends to child care programs interested in working towards reaching national accreditation standards and improving the quality of early care they offer at their child care center.
Early learning resource library and van - offers an array of Resources and services for early care educators that include children's books, thematic unit boxes, musical cd's and tapes, teacher resource books, video's, puppet story book kits, research on early childhood topics, die-cuts, and laminating for classrooms.
Resource and referral program - free service that guides families through the process of locating quality child care.
