Program areas at Children and Family Services
HIV/AIDS Outreach:Provides correct prevention information and education counseling for people in rural West Tennessee. It seeks to educate high risk individuals about the virus and disease and promote behavioral change in effort to prevent/decrease the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Prevention:Provides sercies for families especially children in low income enviroments in rural West Tennessee who practice risky behaviors that cause them not to obtain adequate care and become self sufficient contributors of society.
Education:Includes wellness which provides an intense care management program focused on education and fitness empowering and enhancing heathier lifestyle for individuals with chronic health conditions. Early intervention services are also included which help the unaware learn of their HIV status and receive referral to HIV care and treatment services if found to be HIV infected.
