Program areas at Children's Developmental Center
In fiscal year 2022-23, the Center served children in paterson, finley, kennewick, and pasco. We served 1 child in paterson, 11 children in finley,150 children in kennewick, and 153 children in pasco in our early support for infants and toddlers program. In applied behavior analysis, we served 13 children, which is one more than we have in the past. In the pediatric pelvic health program, the Center served 55 children. Across all 3 programs, the Center served 4,003 intervention visits to children in our region. This total exceeds previous years' intervention visits. In addition to that, we received our determination letter from the state agency whom we are contractors for, department of children, youth, and families. The Center was rated at 100% compliance and received no recommendations for improvement. This is the second year in a row with 100% compliance. The Center delivers one fifth of all Washington state's early interventions. The Center's reputation for delivering quality interventions to this community has garnered requests from wsu tri-cities medical school and cbc nursing school to allow their medical and nursing students to conduct a portion of their fellowship under the Center's supervision. The Center will consider these requests in fiscal year 2024-25.
