Program areas at Children's Flight of Hope
Children's Flight of Hope (cfoh) provides air transportation to specialized care for children in need. Through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and partners, cfoh provides flights for children and a parent or guardian as many times as needed for the duration of the healthcare journey. While our roots began with a private Flight model, the majority of our children travel via commercial airlines, allowing us to better use resources to serve as many children as possible. Without cfoh many families would be forced to postpone care, drive thousands of miles, or forgo treatment altogether. We believe that neither distance nor expense should prevent children from receiving life sustaining, life altering, or lifesaving care. All children served by cfoh experience improved access to specialized health care otherwise not available in their local communities. They are treated by the best of the best at nationally top ranked hospitals and healthcare centers. The words of need and gratitude drive the cfoh community to support every family that turns to us. In 2023 we served families from 48 states and 27 countries providing flights as often as they need whether every few weeks or just one time. Our application process verifies medical and financial hardship which must be verified annually to ensure we fulfill our nonprofit commitment and effectively and efficiently use the resources donated to us through the kindness of others.
