Program areas at Childrens Scoliosis Foundation
Medical Travel Grants: we provide support for families that must travel long distances to receive scoliosis treatment for their children, including medical trips for scoliosis bracing and surgery.
Research Support: We provide support for scoliosis researchers who need help with IRB-supported research surveys, including covering IRB fees and IRB-supported online survey platforms.
Care Packs: we provide care packs for children who are getting spine surgery or a new scoliosis brace, including coloring books and pencils, journals from Scolios-Us, and teddy bears with braces or surgery scars from Higgy Bears.
Support for other scoliosis nonprofits: in 2023 we supported HiggyCon, where the scoliosis nonprofit Higgy Bears has their annual event for children with scoliosis.
