Program areas at Christadelphian Meal-A-Day Americas
Pure water: provide potable water, water management systems, including pumps, storage sanitation, hygiene and training for families and communities in ecuador, peru, nicaraqua, haiti, honduras and first nations of cananda.
Agriculture/fishing: project support includes: agricultural environmental sustainable seed banks and substainable agriculture for communities located in columbia, nicaragua and guatemala.
Children's welfare: supporting education, literacy, emotional health, and child friendly spaces, by providing operating funds, including school lunches and teacher salaries, for schools in haiti, books and edcuational materials in guatemala, bolivia, student scholarships in guatemala, and counseling/workshops for parents, youth and adolescents in columbia.
These programs were selected to help the poorest of our neighbors in latin america, the caribbean and african countries, overcome the effects of hunger, disease obtain basic healthcare, and receive humanitarian aid in acute situations of need.
