Churchill School - elementary School provides a supportive, structured environment in which students are encouraged to expand their knowledge and use their strengths while developing their reading, writing, math, social, and organizational skills. Students learn to accept and understand their learning disabilities, become self-advocates, and take responsibility for their own learning. The Churchill middle School provides a safe, supportive, and their academic knowledge while developing their organizational and study skills in preparation for high School. In this setting, designed for the needs of the early adolescent, students feel comfortable exploring their personal identities and become increasingly independent. The four year program (grades 9-12) enables students to obtain either new york state regents or a local diploma by completing course, testing, and community service requirements.
The Churchill Center offers educational programs and professional development in the field of learning disabilities to students, parents, teachers, and related service providers.
