The devil's calculator spreads math appreciation and excitement in the form of an addicting and innovative puzzle game. Advanced graphing mechanics, countless features and simple, yet innovative level design give considerable depth to the game play. The player doesn't have to be a math prodigy; the game engages logical thinking skills. Featuring an in-depth level creation system for players to program their own brain-teasers for the community, challenges are also provided by well-known mathematicians, professors and celebrities within the field. The devil's calculator is completely free to educators and students, and 20+ levels are free to play for all. This award-winning game is popular with the indie gaming community while proving a robust educational tool--we receive contacts from teachers and gamers internationally. In 2023, the game had over 31,000 new downloads.
A 3d modeling game is in development with the working title of let us make. It is designed for students learning to code 3d models; players will create shapes in compatible programs outside of the game, and then bring them in to complete obstacle courses. Some premade shapes will be available as examples. The puzzles present incentives for students to teach themselves to sculpt in programs such as blender (non-profit) and maya (commercial) or to practice skills they are acquiring in computer classes. We plan to seek software partnerships for the game when it is closer to completion.
Trade bots, created to expand financial literacy and apply math concepts, is an innovative educational simulation game featuring technical analysis and algorithmic trading. Trade an unknown stock at a random time in the past, buying and selling the asset using only technical analysis concepts gained along the way. Learn fundamentals of how to trade based solely on patterns and technical indicators, gradually unlocking upgrades which can expedite and automate your trading. Earn more with learn & earn content and quizzes. Over the course of the campaign, design intricate trading bots using a custom-built visual node editor. The engine is highly flexible and accommodates practically any trading strategy imaginable while requiring no programming background. More than 4,000 downloads of trade bots were sold in 2023.
