Program areas at Circulo de La Hispanidad

Housing: Circulo operates a range of different housing programs including permanent as well as transitional housing for varied populations including individuals living with disabilities, mental illness, hiv/aids, individuals affected by violence and formerly homeless individuals and families. Services are for individuals as well as families. The programs operate to support individuals maintain their housing and live independently, building self-sufficiency. Housing is provided in scatter site locations throughout nassau and suffolk counties.
Youth services:circulo offers a variety of programs to support children and youth from elementary school to high school. Services include after-school programming such as homework assistance and academic enrichment. Circulo offers a range of enrichment activities designed to help youth develop skills to be prepared in school and in life. Youth can also participate in recreational and cultural activities such as dance, sports programming, guitar and other related activities. Circulo offers youth groups throughout the year. During the summer, Circulo offers summer camp activities for children and youth.
Hiv/aids services:circulo of hiv/aids services include targeted prevention designed to assist individuals infected and affected by hiv and aids. Circulo offers outreach, prevention, education, linkage and navigation, advocacy and referral assistance. Additional services include a support group for individuals living with hiv/aids. Hiv/aids services also include testing for individuals at-risk and transportation services via metro, taxi and gas cards for individuals living with hiv/aids. Other services include navigation services at health centers to link individuals to support and care.
Rental activities, domestic violence, education, food services, and community center and other.
