Annual CIT International Conference: 1,418 Attendees 1) raising public and stakeholder awareness through education and outreach, 2) establishing and disseminating recommended standards for developing, implementing, and sustaining CIT programs based on the Core Elements of CIT as developed in Memphis, TN 3) providing assistance to communities interested in developing CIT programs, 4) supporting research and evaluation of CIT programs, 5) partnering with CIT programs in various localities to hold CIT Confernces.
CIT Support Training for 911: 321 people trained 8 hour online course for 911 call-takers to prepare them to identify crisis call, understand their rol in triaging these calls, and begin the deescalation process.
CIT Train the Trainer: 94 people trained Prepare CIT Certified Coordinators to develop and deliver the 40-hour CIT law enforcement training in their community.
