The organization was formed to enhance the economic environment in fort collins, Colorado based on the belief that A strong local Economy is the backbone of A strong community. This will be accomplished by creating plans to lower the poverty rate, replace low paying jobs with higher paying employment, decrease underemployent and raise median household income. The plans include reducing traffic congestion, encouraging local government to be efficient, accountable and transparent, eliminating unnecessary barriers to entrepreneurs and job creators, keeping taxes, fees and utility rates low, promoting fort collins to small business, and working with, not against, primary employers.
