World Federalist Association, doing business as Citizens for Global Solutions Education Fund, develops and promotes measures to strengthen existing international institutions as well as to design and propose structures to better represent the peoples of the World. It is our conviction that only through freedom and democratic representation of peoples will a legitimate World authority ever be possible. The sustainability of any institution claiming international authority will depend on acceptance and support by the peoples of the World. Federalist principles have demonstrated widespread success in securing democratic support, and are the reference point for cgs's advocacy.areas of focus are as follows:1. Safeguarding human rights and upholding international lawwe advocate for Global coordination, legal frameworks, and collective action to address human rights violations and provide accountability for violations of international law.2. Strengthening the united nationswe urge for a more transparent and democratic un through comprehensive reforms to strengthen its governance, enhance transparency, and improve accountability.3. Supporting new Global institutions and mechanismswe encourage efforts to conceive and achieve new Global institutions to enable an effective democratic World federation.4. Promoting disarmament and peacewe promote centralizing arms control, facilitating peaceful dispute resolution, fostering collective security, and reallocating resources to achieve a World without war.5. Arresting environmental degradationwe support coordinated policies, Global agreements, scientific collaboration, sustainable development initiatives, monitoring and enforcement, and resource mobilization on a Global scale to protect our planet.
