Citizens for Safe Yakima Valley Communities

Citizens for Safe Yakima Valley Communities networks individuals and organizations to make Yakima Valley a safe place through a self-directed effort. The organization recruits and focuses the efforts of various entities in a group-directed, coordinated, and collaborative effort to work together on making the area safer. They hosted "100 Jobs for 100 Kids", an event which offered a youth job fair, work readiness training, and summer job placement. Moreover, they provided community education and outreach through Kiwanis, Rotary, Yakima Chamber, YPAC, and word of mouth.
