Program areas at Civil Advocacy Project

Cap continued to serve eligible pooulation in ny, pa and vt. we created liability-limiting entities for income qualified micro businesses, and we helped clients avoid litigation, navigate market disputes, engage in contracts and adopt policies. Cap engaged with several community partners to assemble and disseminate knowledge helpful to micro businesses. Cap continued to consult with tenants in landlord-tenant matters, victims of domestic violence and veterans.
Cap provides legal services for indigent and under-represented populations. In ny and pa offies, cap provides small business and microentrepreneurial assistance, drafting contracts and templates, forming entities and other consulting. In the vt office, cap provides consulting, mediation and Civil legal support tp\o resolve disputes.
Funds were provided by clients as partial payment for legal services provided.
All services provided at a subsidized rate to clients and invoiced
