Program areas at Civitella Ranieri Foundation
The purpose of the Foundation is to provide a setting where an international community of visual artists, writers and composers may pursue and develop projects while benefiting from their colleagues and from the atmosphere of the castle and italy's rich cultural heritage.
Winter session is a program of the Foundation where fees are received in the usa for several programs. These vary from travel study tours focusing on, for instance, umbrian food or sacred umbria or literary umbria. Future proposals include poetry workshops, writing workshops, and additional travel study options. Included in the winter revenues are occasional alumni room occupancies if a project proposal is accepted. The winter session season runs from november 1 each year to the following end of april in the spring.
