Program areas at Civl NFP
Community Venue Support: Launched the city's first job board for independent venues to post on for free, a resource guide for all of our members to utilize for operational support services, and holding community gatherings for general idea sharing/collaboration.
Government and Stakeholder Relations: Worked with the City of Chicago entities DCASE, BACP, and CDPH to discuss mutual aid, idea sharing amongst entities/orgs, and strengthening independent venue owners ability to interact with and understand regulation and support institutions. We dually practice this with hyper-local non profits who are looking to strengthen their relationship with city entities that may enhance any given organization's ability to provide impact through the performing arts.
Community Festival: Designed a community performing arts program that spanned across the city of Chicago where we solicited partners, performing artists, community non-profits, and local stakeholder to support the arts at CIVL Fest 2023.
