To enrich the lives of current and future generations through collecting, preserving and interpreting the history and culture of historic Clackamas County. CCHS owns and maintains the Stevens Crawford Heritage House built in 1872 and the Museum of the Oregon Territory located in Oregon City, Oregon. Both sites contain heritage collections. CCHS museums are open to the public and endeavor to educate and preserve the legacy of Clackamas County, Oregon. Program areas at Clackamas County Historical Society

Preservation of the museum of the Oregon territory and the stevens crawford heritage house and their artifacts. Museum of the Oregon territory is open 4 days per week and the stevens crawford house is open 2 days a week. We installed the exhibit grade school to graduation: 100 years of education in Clackamas County. The exhibit looks at how education has changed in Clackamas County from log cabin schoolhouses to present-day school districts. We updated our main exhibit gallery industry hall with exhibits that covered the industries of willamette falls, such as logging, mining, and paper production.
