Program areas at Clear Path for Veterans

Canine programs: accredited by assitance dogs international (adi), Clear Path's canine program specializes in raising and training service dogs to be placed with Veterans struggling with their independence post-military service. This is accomplished through comprehensive services in canine training, puppy development, client recruitment, and volunteerism.
Veterans outreach services: with a geographic coverage area spanning over 33 counties, Clear Path employs dedicated staff to identify and provide services to Veterans in underserved locations. This is accomplished through a regionalized approach covering the north country, central region, southern tier, western new york, and the hudson valley. Peer mentors connect with Veterans through an individualized approach, providing accountability, empowerment, and tailored case plans to help them achieve their goals.
Culinary and agriculture - each week the culinary program staff and volunteers prepare a complimentary lunch open to all Veterans, active duty, guard, reserves and their immediate family called the wednesday canteen. This nutritious lunch is served in a welcoming environment to men and women of all service eras. In addition to the weekly canteen at Clear Path for Veterans' chittenango facility, Clear Path for Veterans partners with local Veterans organizations throughout central new york to provide mobile canteens.
