Program areas at Clemmons Family Farm
On Farm programming and events that uphold the organization mission to preserve and maintain the historic Farm, empower a network of Vermont's black artists, and build a multicultural community.expenses for on Farm events and programming includes:$15,420 in equipment for farmland, including $7,735 of depreciation, $7,910 in salaries for creative placemaking and groundskeeping, $2,113 in artist fees for the nest grant, $18,393 in artist fees for unrestricted on Farm events, and $3,490 for event security.income generated from on Farm events and programming includes:$26,000 in earned income from disney tour contract, and $17,245 in miscellaneous revenue from on Farm events.
Health and wellness arts programs. This work included the beneath our skin covid 19 vaccination storytelling project funded by Vermont department of health, and the black & bliss wellness arts project funded by behavioral health network of Vermont dba Vermont care network. Funds are mainly used to pay artist fees, consultant fees, program management fees and stipends for storytelling participants.
K-12 windows to a multicultural world - this program groups together several grants for k-12 programs that feature the development and delivery of african-american history curriculum, artist engagements, and a remote learning platform for teachers, parents, and students.
Triple-net lease and stewardship programs and services. The triple net lease supports the preservation and stewardship of the Clemmons Farm and its use by artists, community members, other nonprofit organizations, and k-12 schools during scheduled arts and culture programs and events. Expenses included:$21,043 rent$29,064 property taxes$12,380 utilities$20,374 maintenanceincome for 2022 totalled $11,649 generated through venue rental income.
