Description
Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice educates, organizes, and mobilizes the faith community to accompany workers and their families in their struggle for good jobs, dignity, and justice. In 2018, CLUE led interfaith efforts in morally-grounded direct action and civil disobedience to oppose inhumane immigration policies such as family separation, the Muslim ban, and the end of TPS. These actions included the arrest of over twenty faith leaders. CLUE collaborates with over 600 religious congregations across Los Angeles to further the work of building a just and sacred society.
