The Cleveland Eye Bank Foundation supported Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute, University Hospitals with $70,000 grants each, Akron Children's Hospital Vision Center with $25,000 to fund research for cures to eye disease and continuing education to the public regarding eye disease and cure research. Paid $7,500 to CWRU School of Medicine representing the 2nd year of our 5 year commitment. Additionly, $500 was granted to two medical students from the Susan V. Janssen Scholarship Fund.
The Cleveland Eye Bank Foundation organizes an annual symposium for professionals and the public to educate all on the current state of research and cures for eye diseases. Cleveland Eye Bank Foundation also reaches out to the public through grassroots efforts to educate the public about vision research, eye health and the mission of Cleveland Eye Bank Foundation.
