Program areas at Clifton Cultural Arts Center
Classes: In 2022, CCAC provided more than 170 in-person and virtual arts and cultural educational opportunities in five disciplines: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Culture + Languages, and Wellness. These opportunities served more than 9,000 people, including 3,400 children.
Exhibits: CCAC exhibited works of art from both emerging and established artists, as well as amateur community artists across all fine arts disciplines. These included our fourteenth year of the juried Golden Ticket Art Exhibit, which displayed over 35 pieces of fine art by artists within a 25 mile radius.
Events: In 2022, CCAC presented various programmatic series including: 1) Wednesdays in the Woods, which was held both in-person at the Burnet Woods Bandstand as well as live-streamed via Facebook, reaching over 10,000 people locally and nationally. 2) Rockets to Robots, a free STEM+Arts program offered to children and their families from five nearby Cincinnati Public Schools. 3) Sunset Salons, a conversation series for adults on topics ranging from contemporary issues to arts and culture. 4.) Carpool Cinema, a series of outdoor drive in-style family movie nights held in the spring and fall. In 2022, CCAC debuted an expanded summer performance series, Uptown Arts Alive, which featured performances six days a week at six different Uptown neighborhood locations and over 180 performers.
