U.s. department of labor employment training administration's youthbuild program: the u.s. department of labor provided funding for the youthbuild program in which opportunity/at-risk youth receive nationally and industry recognized certifications in culinary, construction and medical assistant while completing on-the-job training and educational gains. This year we met all performance measures and expectations. We provided services and resources for 36 participants. This grant provided a safe haven and resources for 30 homeless youth.climb academy an online highschool diploma program: this program provided educational resources and curriculm for 40 participants.american heart association: this grant is a pilot to plan and implement a new advocacy infrastructure to reverse childhood obesity by providing transportation for parents and guardians to places where they can get healthy foods.climb cdc's conservation corps program: as the corps network's only affiliate in Mississippi, Climb cdc conservation corps was provided continued funding to continue providing environmental services. Climb cdc's conservation corps program continues to be an environment steward type employment, with funding from the nature conservancy, Climb has been able to complete projects in desoto national forest, through funding from the nature conservancy, Climb cdc was able to provide environmental stewardship to multiple partners on the gulf coast. The conservation corps was able to complete over 22 acres of federal land restoration as well as multiple projects with sponsors, and many more.
