To mobilize, train, and equip the next generation of leaders to further education and social awareness causes in nepal through the following activities: providing lifeline support to those chi staff in leadership roles in nepal; support operation of adult training centers, including facilities, equipment, training materials and supplies; sponsoring various training conferences; translating and publishing educational materials; and conducting english language classes.
To share love in the villages by providing: ongoing training and awarness programs on child labor, human trafficking, child protection, children at risk, health and sanitation, and women and children rights; providing child development scholarships; supporting public school children through distribution of school supplies, uniforms, and winter coats; and other humanitarian relief that may be needed. 2021 examples included flood releif (provided emergency food supplies, solar power systems and building materials for temporary shelters) and furnished 51 bed hospital with all furnishings and basic medical equipment and supplies.
To empower villages in nepal through supporting teachers and building and operating community centers through the following activities: providing lifeline support to teachers and social workers in nepal; building and operating community centers in mountain villages; and enhancing communication between village community centers staff and training and development centers to facilate on-going education.
Our mission - to work alongside local community leadership adult training centers village community centers and public schools in nepal to advance education social awareness causes and humanitarian efforts to lift families and thereby children out of a cycle of hopelessness fear and dispair. To accomplish our mission semiannual site visits are made along with weekly zoom calls with leadership staff to insure that funds are used for designated purposes during the course of the year. Idigenous chi staff report how funding is being used and provide receipts as available photographic evidence and detailed reports of all work being accomplished. Chi staff are chosen after a detailed application and selection process and are paired for accountablity. Each chi team is required to submit a quarterly written report discussing all program activities that they participated in along with successes and challanges. All chi staff consist of teachers and social workers.
