Climb USA hosted multi-regional stock market experience which was a perfect combination of fun, networking, friendly competition and learning to build wealth! The sme is a simulation investment game designed for middle & high school students, as well as adults.
The Climb youth leadership program is a special (virtual) space for ambitious youth to learn and develop "the economic way of thinking and living". The virtual sessions address various financial and human development topics that are interesting and relevant for today's teens and young adults. Each participant is also guided through the process of selecting a special topic of interest to research and prepare as a presentation for their capstone in may of each year.
Climb community based investment enterprises provided real-time educational experiences in learning the basics of investing and building wealth through a stock portfolio.
Go4it! 's mission is to promote entrepreneurship among urban youth and young adults through business and investment education, training, and project-based initiatives. Go4it! Accomplishes its mission through an inter-agency collaboration of youth-serving community-based organizations.
The Climb economic club (cec) was established to host forums to explore and discuss economic issues that are pertinent to people and communities of color. The cec forum topics are curated and planned by the Climb economic club roundtable which is comprised of nationally renowned economists, thought leaders, and enlightened business executives.
Other programs - co-led by united way, city of milwaukee, milwaukee department of health - office of violence prevention, and Climb USA, milwaukee's financial education network has come together to take a closer look at the financial literacy gap through a collective impact initiative. This network will establish a shared financial education agenda to collectively address the financial education needs and opportunities for milwaukee's youth of color.
