Program areas at Climbing Resource Access Group of Vermont
We created the project plan, hired the stone builders, acquired the stone from a local source, had the stone delivered and the staircase and belay platforms for the gulley completely built. It is some of the finest stonework at any outdoor climbing area in the country. We had the remainder of the stone moved up to the left end of the cliff, where it will be used by volunteers to build the remaining platforms and retaining walls.
We grant funded the purchase of a tool cache for trail work for our ongoing stewardship projects
We fundraised enough money to finish our repayment of the Access Fund loan for the purchase of the Bolton Dome property, which began in 2018. We paid off the majority of the loan this year, with the remaining balance to be paid in 2023.
