The activities of the organization have focused on developing and advocating for federal tax legislation and other government policies that encourage domestic research and ip ownership. This includes the development of various documents and position papers to promote such policies. The activities of the organization have been conducted by the members of the organization and by a professional firm hired to help carry out the organization's stated goals and activities. Because the focus to date has been on federal legislation and government policies, virtually all of the organization's activities have been conducted in Washington dc (either in person or by video conference). The organization's total time is currently spent on these activities. The activities have been funded entirely by yearly member dues. The activities further the organization's exempt purposes by advocating for legislation and policies that help to spur domestic Innovation and the creative economy and promote the development and ownership of intangible property in the united states.
