Program areas at Cobb Landmarks and Historical Society
One of out largest programs is the marietta pilgrimage. Held the first week of december, Cobb Landmarks co-sponsors the event with the marietta welcome center. Cobb Landmarks treasurer is the treasurer for the tour. The pilgrimage is a tour of homes in one of the five national register districts in marietta.
Miscellaneous program service income and expenses
William root house and the power cabin were restored and are used to teach residents, school children, and tourists about life in a middle-class urban home in the 1850's and life on a rural farmstead in the mid 1800's. The entire community, tourists, and school children will benefit from the project.
