Program areas at CodeSquad

Codesquad seeks to meet a community need (lucrative, high-growth jobs for low-income people) and a business need (more programmers to fill open positions), while simultaneously increasing diversity in the tech sector. With the skills gained through our program, many graduates have achieved dramatic increases in income, with reported graduate incomes averaging over 90,000 per year. Codesquad has completed five annual cohorts (2018-2022), and the current cohort runs through june 2023. The program includes a 22- week coding bootcamp, totaling over 200 hours of live classes. The bootcamp is free to attend and admitted students also receive a small stipend. Admissions are competitive: from this year's initial pool of 173, just 20 were admitted to the 2023 cohort; for our 2024 cohort, over 240 people have already signed up to apply.
