Digital marketing campaign mission: provide education about Colon Cancer, the second deadliest Cancer among men and women, across Kentucky and southern Indiana. We launched a digital outreach campaign to promote routine Cancer screenings for younger individuals residing in Kentucky and southern Indiana. A second campaign to promote the Kentucky pharmacy protocol, and encourage kentuckians to utilize stool based testing available through participating pharmacies across the state. The campaigns utilized targeted digital marketing, streaming ott video ads, and online pre-roll video ads. Total spent on this program was 38,000, not including administrative costs.
Survivor support group mission: provide survivor support, including grants to patients battling Colon Cancer. Our local survivor support group meets once per month and is growing in membership. Our support group facilitator has created an environment of sharing that supports mental Health that Cancer patients so desperately need. We also provide affirming experiences and opportunities for survivors that focus on Health and wellbeing. 3,112 dollars was spent on this program, and many volunteer hours were given by the board and staff. That dollar amount does not include overhead or administrative costs.
Fighter's fund mission: provide survivor support, including grants to patients battling Colon Cancer. 79 patients that were financially struggling and in need were given 200 each for the fighter's fund. This resulted in spending 16,104, not including administrative costs. "i get so sick from the effects of chemo that i miss a lot of work. I used this gift to buy groceries and gas. It helped me focus on getting better and reminded me that i am not alone." -fighter's fund recipient. A high percentage of patients that receive this money live in rural areas that can be far from treatment facilities.
