Colorado Ethiopian Community

Colorado Ethiopian Community preserves, shares and promotes the 3000 years of Ethiopian cultural heritage through its non-profit organization. The organization supports new Ethiopian Americans to contribute and enrich the cultural mosaic of the community. Funding for internal day-to-day activities and events come from non-Edir donations and grants from organizations such as African Chamber of Commerce, Trailhead Institute, and Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger. In addition, CEC Edir program offers financial assistance for funeral services or for transporting the body of a member of the Edir.
