Program areas at Colorado Restaurant Association
Convention: the Association holds a convention which allows members to learn the latest products and services that serve the Restaurant industry. In addition, education sessions are held on subjects pertinent to Restaurant owners and managers.
Special events: the Association holds two events, industry spotlight awards and the lifetime achievement awards, both which honor outstanding industry professionals and outstanding staff with approximately 175 and 125 attendees, respectively.
Membership services: in addition to education and keeping members abreast of current government affairs affecting their businesses, the Association provides a variety of others services to members. These services include providing discount programs through endorsed vendors, hosting events and meetings to provide networking opportunities, as well as assisting member groups locally in producing networking opportunities.
Government affairs: the Association monitors local and state legislation and provides leadership in government affairs affecting the Restaurant industry.
Services to related entities: the Association is the parent of four subsidiaries: Colorado Restaurant foundation, Colorado Restaurant Association host-pac, Colorado Restaurant Association hi-pac, and Colorado Restaurant Association small donor committee. Services to related entities was $825,260. The Association provided space, equipment, and administrative services to these subsidiaries.
