Program areas at Comanche County Medical Center Company
General and acute hospital services. Objectives are to provide excellent Medical care, heal the sick, and reduce hospital readmission. Our main service lines: inpatient hospital care, observation stays, swing bed, and hospice. During the year 2023, we served 394 inpatients, 1,004 observations, 76 swing bed patients, and 7 hospice patients.
Nonprofit pharmacies and pharmacy services. Accomplishments include a total of 89,880 prescriptions for all three rural retail pharmacies. Our objectives are to increase access to pharmacy services in the rural area. We provided free delivery of prescriptions and helped patients find financial assistance for high-priced medications. We offered many immunizations in the pharmacies without an appointment.
Rural health clinics. Accomplishments include a total of 42,317 visits for all three clinics. Clinic objectives are to deliver excellent primary care and improve access to care in our rural service area. We extended services through created and implemented a mobile health clinic to serve our most rural residents; offered chronic care management services; delivered telehealth services to the patients.
