Live events: live events have a moderated conversation between two or more panelists who have positions on different sides of an issue. The event may be held in person in front of a live audience or may be broadcast in real time to an internet audience. The objective is for the panelists to find areas where they have agreement on the issues, thus finding Common Ground.
Virtual events: virtual events are those recorded for broadcast at another time. These are primarily podcasts which may follow the format of the live events but also provide opportunities for people to relate stories and personal experiences where they have found Common Ground or agreement with those who have different positions on an important issue.
Publications: blogs and op-eds. This includes written materials that originates with Common Ground Committee personnel. Examples include our website blog posts and editorial comments, usually created by the founders, that are printed in publications such as usa today, the hill, and others. These are usually based on pointing out where there is Common Ground to be found on various issues presented in the news.
