This engagement is aimed to:- design and implement a skills-based volunteer program for the first time or expand the Impact of an existing one.- better align a company's operational strategy with talent development, employee engagement, and philanthropic goals- understand how social Impact or employee engagement program compares to peer companies.- zero in on and solve for pain points or program challenges.
Day of service employee teams are matched to a nonprofit challenge that aligns with their collective skillset as part of a group event that occurs either virtually or in-person during a single day or virtually in two parts across two days. Events can include up to 20 nonprofits.- timeline: 5-8 hours with a minimum of 10 weeks prep time. - virtual or in-person as determined by corporate client and dependent on event scale and size - nonprofit challenges are scoped with the assumption that a project can be completed in approximately 8 hours. - event consists of 3-4 parts: discovery, incubation tank, optional community programming, and presentation. - can include up to 20 nonprofits as part of a single virtual or in-person event with 5-8 volunteers per team or up to 40 nonprofits as part of a two day virtual event.
Team consulting functional or cross-functional teams collaborate across 6 weeks - 6 months on a nonprofit's consulting or implementation challenge related to operations, strategic planning, technology, finance, hr, or marketing. - projects are designed as a leadership development tool for volunteers-timeline: the overall engagement can take 9 weeks - 6 months including sourcing & scoping nonprofit projects from project kick-off -recruitment: engages a target group of employees i.e., emerging leaders, executives, business resource groups-projects are scoped with an assumption of a delivered stand-alone resource that supports organizational or cross-program capacity building -engagement management: ci team members identify project needs, source volunteers, kick-off project with nonprofit and volunteers and attend weekly meetings. Ci team members facilitate the conversation vs. acting as an additional sbv volunteer.
