Specialist in blood banking (sbb) program - ctf identified the need for a specialist in blood banking (sbb) program for Virginia and surrounding states. Working with blood assurance and the university of Texas medical branch, ctf developed a program and graduated its first class in fye 2-24.
Case study vietnam blood system - since the 1970s, the vietnam blood system (vnbs) has focused on developing a world class blood system. Working from a comprehensive plan, the vnbs has steadily addressing deficiencies which has resulted in a modern blood Transfusion system. The researchers spent two weeks in vietnam meeting with leaders and documenting how the vnbs identified deficiencies, developed a comprehensive plan and implemented the plan. The work product is a case study that can be used by blood systems in developing nations that desire to modernize.
Cellular therapy training and certification program - ctf identified a need for cellular therapy training and certification for the us blood industry. Working with leaders from blood centers across the us, universities, and the national institutes of health, ctf laid the groundwork for such a program.
