LOCAL INITIATIVE PROVIDING LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE UNDER CFDA NO. 93.568 These funds are used to help low-income families meet the cost of home energy, defined as heating and cooling residences, and to increase their self-sufficicency and reduce their vulnerability resulting from energy needs.
WEATHERIZATION FOR LOW-INCOME PERSONS UNDER CFDA NO. 81.042 These funds are used to assist in reducing energy costs for low-income households, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities, and families with children, by improving the energy eficiency of their homes while improving the overall health and safety of the family.
COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT UNDER CFDA NO. 93.569 These funds were used to assist low-incime individuals and families to achieve self sufficiency. Services provided varies based on the identified needs of families. The services provided are to remove family/individuals' obstacles which prevent self-sufficiency.
