Community Advocates, Inc. Aims to further it's vision of a "post-civil rights" generation through activities that will provide common ground in the city and county of los angeles. To increase interaction and promote common interests, Community Advocates, Inc. Hosts the following programs:forums (e.g., panels of leading authors, opinion makers and experts in town hall style gatherings to debate and discuss the pace of progress the nation has made on the racial/ethnic front),seminars for the media (e.g., educating the media on the nature and substance of la's diverse leaders, organizations, and communities),leadership training (e.g., leadership programs for potential young leaders seeking strategies and tactics to lead across racial, ethnic and religious lines),events (e.g., a citywide festival featuring the complex mixture of racial ethnic and religious communities in los angeles, all the while spotlighting the common themes that weave groups and parts of the city together).
